Is Marcus coming back??

A lady tells us that there are rumours that Marcus might make his way back to Capital. As much as Marcus can do miracles for CITM, I hope these rumours are NOT true cause that would be WRONG!! Recycling is sooo 2009.

Marcus quit Classsic 105 after a few run-ins with Pete Sinclair.

if thats true! good stuff! as in the last time i listened to hot 96 it was just plain boring…how u going to play ol skool jamz that no one can relate to..They should call themselves ashes96 bocoz of the jamz they are playing! Then this kwatch guy has that ol skul swagga on the mic that just irritates you.Enuff of that…moving on swiftly to MARCUS!-i guess this guy should get his priority right…dude sed the other day he was concentrating on his BLACKSTAR biz..wow mwaka mpya vitu mpya i guess!

aapana Hot 96 has the music!! kwanza I congratulate them on their strategy of segmentation coz the music they play is listened to by peeps of a certain mature age. I think Jimmi Gathu started a nice thing there (btw is he still PC there or he was also shown tha door?) Apana hii maneno ya kapuka na crunk mingi ya watoto played by all the others. Kwanza the inferno DJs/VJs are doing a real fine job. They kick the old skul ngomas videadly!

The only problem is the presenters at the station. vere boring. Their breakfast show initially had Albert Josiah, akaenda. then there was Tina Nzuki who would have a monologue, not even allowing her co-presenter to speak!! Huyo pia inje! Kwach, Chris and Awilo was good during the drive time show last year, lakini when they brought them to the morning show they just tupad mbao.
They need to do something about the presenters but the old skool ngomas? aaah the inferno guys kick it just too well! Ed note! Jimmy is no longer Pc

enyewe radio needs to evolve…how about going out there, holding auditions at all these communications schools.. i know a number of people who would do wonders for radio, but they cant even get to a voice test cos they dont know anybody…recycling is tired!!!

Local stations need to nurture fresh talent. Train fresh talent and go as far as scouting beyond their comfort zones. I’ve heard conversations in bars, offices, schools, bedrooms & even toilets that are more thrilling than listening to shaq, kwach, gaetano, eve, larry, g-money and the whole monotonous bunch. Fresh talent to prevent recycling n boredom on our airwaves. But longevity to create sustainable and respectable careers, bring in revenue and listenership. I’m tired of tuning to hot 96 coz there are no anchors. Kenyans need to define good quality and adhere to it. If ur 45, do not complain homeboys radio is immature. Ur not the target. We need to be the change we want in media. Lord knows the chris kirubis, s.k macharias, the government and every other powerful person within media won’t help.
