Am in the mood for some rants this morning!!

First off, the Esther Arunga story is still in our minds and it’s kinda funny some mamas are all over Esther’s case she dumped a man and quickly got another one. The same mamas who are chips fungwuad every weekend BY complete strangers!!

Our gazetis are shitty as FUCK! The standard had a story about Sir Henry becoming a dad. Sir who?? For those who have no fucking clue who he is – he was introduced by groupie NUMBER one Adyambo Odera to readers of Buzz! He is rumored to have at one time owned a share of Homeboyz! The other day Zuqka had a story about Wilbroda buying a Vitz! What a waste of space!

John Muchiri

Our reporters/presenters and anchors walk around like semi-gods but we know they’re nada! And if you listen to ‘em they’ll fuck up at one point. Take Boni Odinga for example, he told us a few days back Yoghurt is made from BAD MILK! It’s even worse if they’re doing live interviews, a few weeks back I was watching Sunrise Live, Edith Kimani had the police spokesman’s in studio. She was asking such stupid questions I was embarrassed at the wasted opportunity to pin Kiraithe to the floor. Then she was joined by Larry Madowo in interviewing Astar, either they were excited or something cause they asked him about the download thing (which had the same answer) almost 4 times!!!

K24!!! Where the hell do you guys recruit from?? No offense am a kuyu but I get pissed when most of the reporters are almost pulling a Kameme on an English report! Style up!!!!

Metro FM!!! The guys there have been spreading propaganda and some has hit my inbox! Ati Kenyans should not listen to Uptown ati cause G-Money has lied he’s Jamaican! They’re saying he’s Ghanian! Who cares???? Who cares where he comes from? Ikiwi your game iko down – just admit it! Instead of being petty

A personal one, the street families are back! And in the last few days I’ve faced quite a few on Harambee Avenue especially at the sunken car park! Only last week on mama called me ‘Mavi’ after she asked for my jacket! Phillip Kisia do something!!!

THOSE ching chong movies on Citizen eih! I choose not to watch ‘em but seriously!! Who watches that crap????

Guys actually watch those movies. Ask any hawker or go to exhibitions in town and the fastest moving flicks are Naija, Kungfu, Vernacular and WWE. Most Hollywood movies today just don’t connect with the average African.

  7. LMBAO! Oh and Wilbroda doesn’t drive a Vitz woiye…

Nobody cares either way but just in case anyone’s interested, its an ALLEX! (Same Shit but hey!)

Ati G is Ghanaian? WTF? Si these pple focus on getting better instead of hating?

Godfrey i can understand the naija shyt but how does a mexican soap n ching chong movies connect with an average African?(who is an average African by the way??)

The story lines are quite simple, usually involving romance, struggles between rich and poor or good versus evil. Mexican soaps are quite good at that, especially where a poor, rural girl suffers at the hands of a rich, cruel family before eventually triumphing. That’s a typical story line that can draw audiences anywhere. Contrast with present day Hollywood productions with themes on gays, surrogate mothers, etc and you can see why Africans are turning away. So, you are wondering who the average African is? To start with, he/she isn’t likely to be on this blog ….

Since Sept 11, Hollywood producers have been obsessed with the War on Terror. The sight of western soldiers blowing up villages in developing countries doesn’t do much to attract audiences, does it?

Ntv is the crappiest station, from jacking ideas, presenters and even even tv programs time slots.
