Big changes at Kameme FM

Two years ago Inooro FM pulled a ‘Kiss Fm’ on Kameme and poached their top presenters at the time, Njogu wa Njoroge and PM2. Maaaan!! Gotta love PM2. Anyway, now they’re back to Kameme FM and will be on air VEEEERY soon.

If you’re not a Kikuyu you would not understand why I have maad love for these two, but PM2 and Njogu are like Maina Kageni and Cess Mutungi, but broadcasting in kuyu. Kwanza PM, wacha tu!

Speaking of Kameme…their MD Rose Kimotho is on this month’s copy of Drum (grab your copy) she talks about the media house and other aspects of her life. She looks fabulous for her age.

i think that is not good at all to abandon the station that have moulded you all that time
but it dont mattter if it’s their option

Kameme is where these guys were moulded, they went out for only three years but we say east or west home is always the best. Karibuni sana, long live kameme.

Njogu is a talented presenter but moving from one media house to another is so sickening! I think its too early to celebrate. But Njogu if you follow the footsteps of our lovely lady wangunjiri, you will surely know that you have been placed by GOD at kameme for a reason.Long live Kameme.

the only thing I loved about Kameme was their Kameme Country thing which has now gone off air only to be replaced by two of the craziest presenters on night time radio…a one man guitar guy and a raspy voiced presenter lady…they rock especially to those who understand the lugha…

Jeff! a great man. i loved his show.

  16. kameme is my station if you migrate leave me there if you come back you will get me there. i hate other kikuyu stations because their work is just to copy kameme programs. some even shamelessly copy 100% eg top 6 at 6 was once a kameme programme. thandi cia kameme has also been copied. I LOVE KAMEME
