Unataka ngapi??

This is what Radio Africa’s GM Martin Khafafa was asking Maina Wa Kageni all weekend at the coast.

Maina was re-negotiating his already HUMONGOUS pay slip – with the GM,  and sources who are close to the two say, by Sunday evening, no new deal had been struck

Ed. ebu find out how much Mk is paid in Radio Africa and how much he wants from Royal Media…and is Kingangi going with him…?but seriously i think he should move, a change is as good as a rest and he might have an opportunity to ‘grow”….

Lol! I totally understand mike! It’s actually suggestive – esp at the coast! I’ve already envisioned holding hands and being proposed to on the beach! Eeew eeew! Haha

If only someone could give me Maina’s job! All he does is respond with a resound …. Eeeehhhh… and laugh at Kingangi’s jokes …..Hehehehehe ….. and read traffick updates and call Inspekta Willy to remove dead dogs (that were hit by cars the previus night) to easen traffick. If someone could pay me for that!

None the less, I agree with Fresh Apple. He should be negotiating a pay pack for Kingangi as well coz otherwise, he is toast!

yap this is soooooo true…Maina is nothing without King’ang’i its the team that clicks not Maina alone…so if he goes without Mwalimu thats a downfall in his radio career….

MK’s eeeeeehhhhhhh is immensely annoying! Akienda bila King’ang’i we’ll be hearing much less of that.

This MK story just goes to show lack of succession planning in most businesses.
Kwani MK is the only cash cow for the station? I’ve never understood when businesses try to hold on to a particular employee. It certainly shows weaknesses in the company and most telling of all is that the radio is not nimble in an industry where it needs to be in order to survive.

MK, milk them for all their worth!!!

BTW, can somebody come up with real figures of how much these guyz are paid? Methinks the figures are overated for good PR with the audiences. For instance, I don’t believe anybody in his right mind can pay a radio presenter 500k just for making noise and selling trash on the airwaves? LOL

For real, that eeeh then hehehe is all he does. And is it me alone ama ,like 90% of the 80’s ‘muthundikos’ are his favourite jams.

    hes headed to homeboyz radio

some years back i think it was the lavish perks that made these presenters huge. Salo was like 130k for them radio africa dudes ..you can say now its close to 250k..at one time the highest paid was CM of kiss and the lowest a mere 50k those days a show wage was on average 4k. but i still believe capital tops the list on salo’s…

How about Mutoko now taking home close to 1M? Her salo was just revised after a romp in the sack with Quarco…the Lioness at Lion’s place knows her job between the sheets!!

Capitalfm tops the list on salos???? I THINK NOT! Capital is a place for brokeness

If I were MArtin I would make Maina a co-director, Classic is dead the minute Maina walks out of the door. N I guess he’ll be pulling King’ang’i along with him. Ever tuned to Classic whenever Maina takes his monthly overseas vocations?
